Human Interactions & Experience Design

Early days of computing witnessed the use of computers in industry and research primarily by highly trained specialists. With the advent of intelligent, pervasive, and ubiquitous computing, it has been of utmost importance to design clear, intuitive, experiential systems which would be usable for people with a varied range of abilities, knowledge, and expertise. Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) & Experience Design is the area of research at Conduent Labs that explores diverse technological concepts and models in the field of applied HCI and user experience design.

Our researchers study people and their use of technology at work and everyday utilities and help define experiences that make software, devices, and systems more admirable, understandable, and usable for our clients and users. We are a multidisciplinary team of design thinkers, HCI experts, ethnographers, UX designers, usability professionals, visual designers, and engineers to advance and incorporate a leading-edge business vision. Partnering with Conduent’s business groups, we aim to build research & product competencies in pivotal areas such as Transportation, Healthcare, HR Services etc., thereby paving the way for rich user experience and design in all of our key business offerings.
